ChallengeTo launch Coca-Cola Zero in South Africa.
Solution: A Trendsetting and Experiential Launch EventAn event for media, staff and business partners was created by Lange to establish the brand personality and iconic status of the brand. The launch of Coca-Cola Zero in SA was the softdrink giant's biggest global product launch in 20 years. The event was conceptualised to bring to life the edgy, innovative attitude of the brand in line with Coca-Cola Zero's 'Unbelievable things can happen. Believe it!' positioning. Held at the Coca-Cola Dome for over 500 people, the launch event included a series of "unbelievable" acts including FMX stunts, a 'burning man', 'gee whizz' performances and stunt acts hot footing off high points within the venue. Guests also were able to be glossy magazine covers by having their photograph taken at the launch and having it printed on an authentic FHM cover as a momento of the launch event. |
